LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SET! The handles on all the pieces are wonderful detailed seahorses. Sea life in it’s various forms are raised and decorate the surface of all the pieces including different types of fish, an octopus, and a Starfish. The rich deep turquoise blue of the background sets off the other vividly colored sea species to perfection. The four saucers measure 6 in diameter. Two of them have what appears to be rusty colored stains on the back, but I believe this is from the brown glaze used to decorate the edges and appears to be under the glaze. There is some roughness on the bottom edge of one, but appears to be glaze wear where the plate sits on a table or whatever, no chips, cracks or repairs. The creamer and sugar have no chips, cracks or repairs and the sugar has seahorse handles with an open oyster shell as a finial. The sugar is about 4″ in height and about 5 /2″ across and the creamer is about 2 1/2 tall. One of the four coffee cuts has a flea bite on the underside edge, but all else perfect. Each cup measures 5″ across including the seahorse handle and 2 1/2″ in height. The teapot has an open oyster shell n top and a large seahorse handle. There is a spot on the spout that I believe was a production glaze repair when looking at it in person, but you can look at the photo. No other spots that need to be pointed out. The coffee or tea pot is about 7 1/2 in total height. This set is absolutely MARVELOUS! We dont mark up our items by a great amount, so reasonable offers only please.
