For the price you will eleven cereal bowls in the “Blue Italian” pattern by Spode. Blue Italian features different scenes, in blue, on a white body. The pattern began production in the 1800s. The “newer” Blue Italian began production in 1962 and, I believe, is still produced. These bowls measure approximately 6 1/2″ diameter and 1 3/8″ tall at the rim. All are free of any chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. I would rate each as excellent to near mint condition. I try to give any information I have about the listings, and to tell you whether the information is fact or opinion. My description will point out anything I find that could possibly be considered a flaw. For this reason, many past buyers felt that they received a better product than they expected. I use padded envelopes, peanuts, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam packaging as necessary to ensure safe arrival.
