Copeland Blue Spode’s Italian Lidded Tureen. This wonderful tureen was made by Copeland and bears the incised crown mark which I believe indicates it was made around the turn of the Century. Production of this pattern by Copeland began in 1891 and continues into the 20th Century. The wide variety of pieces printed with this pattern attest to its great popularity as does its long production period. It is THE most popular pattern ever produced by Spode. 6″ H X 10″W. Condition: Nice condition, minor imperfections to be expected with age, old chip to underside of lid. I will be listing a large collection of historical Staffordshire so please keep watching.
