This listing is for a 15 piece child’s tea and dessert porcelain set by Copeland Spode in the Blue Italian pattern. The set includes 4 dessert plates, a teapot, creamer, covered sugar bowl and 4 teacups and saucers. The pieces are marked “COPELAND SPODE ITALIAN ENGLAND”. They have scrolling floral and foliate designs and further enhanced with an Italian landscape scene at the center of the plates and saucers and around the bodies of the other pieces all in a blue and white design. The teapot measures 3 1/2 inches or 8.8 cm high to the top of the handle, the plates are 5 5/8 inches or 14.2 cm in diameter, the creamer is 3 inches or 7.6 cm high to the top of the handle, the sugar bowl is 3 inches or 7.6 cm high to the top of the finial. The tea cups measure 1 3/4 inches or 4.4 cm high and the saucers are 4 1/4 inches or 10.7 cm in diameter. There is one cup that has a large old repair and chip on the top rim, there is a small chip on the rim of the teapot. There is toning to the interior of the cups and crazing to the glaze.
