Italian Suit EU 50 US 40S 37×29 Two Piece Gray Brown Checked Wool Blazer Pants

This is a classy two piece suit made in Italy by Mabro. There is also a tag that says British American House New York. It comes with a blazer and matching pants. The material is a super soft Merino wool that has a checked design done in gray, black and brown. The blazer is fully lined in rayon, and it has two vents in the back. It has four inside pockets, two lower outside pockets, and a single breast pocket. It closes with three buttons, and there are matching buttons at the ends of the sleeves. The pants have two side pockets and two back pockets. There are loops around the waistband for a belt. The pant legs have a folded cuff at the bottom of each leg. The pants close with a zipper in the front. The waistband closes with a visible outer button as well as an inner hook and eye closure and an additional inner button. The suit is tagged a size 50, which is a European size that is equivalent to a US size 40. No length is listed, but it measures like a Short length. The actual measurements are as follows. 21.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (43 inches around) Shoulders: 18.5 inches across, seam to seam Sleeves: 23.5 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve Length: 30.5 inches down the center of the back. 18.5 inches across (37 inches around) Inseam: 29.5 inches Length: 39.25 inches. These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. This suit is in excellent used condition. I did want to mention that it looks like the pants have been shortened slightly by cuffing the fabric around the hem of the pants, but this alteration would be very easy to let back down if needed. I also noticed some buttons have been added to the inside of the waistband to allow you to wear button suspenders with the suit.
